Aloha,

Wow is it good to be back. Hawaii was just dreamy but nothing can be as grand as being with you folks!! I heard all good news from Mr. Plant so that was music to my ears!

Today in math class we will review the material from last week.

Period 2: We will review rates and ratios fairly quickly and move onto SLOPE and how to find slope. Slope = rise /run.
Homework: page 380 2-17 all

Periods 3 and 4: We will review solving 2 step equations. After a few examples just to blow out the cobwebs from the weekend, we will move onto solving INEQUALITIES. This is the same process, with a sneaky twist with x or / with negative numbers.
Homework: Page 348 # 22-33 all- solve and graph.

Period 5: We will review solving 1 step equations and move onward to the solving 2 step equations.

HOMEWORK FOR ALL PERIODS: Have all four (negative rules, decimal rules, fraction rules, and chapter 7 rules)of the flip books ready and in class by Tuesday. Make sure your name is on all of them.

The Chuckle for the Day:How do you get straight A's?
By using a ruler!! Hee Hee Hee....

Have a great night.

hey Mrs.Mcatee I am in the allied arts wing with Alex Yankousky and I was wondering do i have to do every home work assignment or just understand the math and practice it by doing some of the reviews? It would be good if you could just post a comment on this blog that answers my question, thanks1

Hi Matt,
No you do not have to do all the problems out. I am looking for you to preview the work and then come to me when you are done. I am glad that you are taking on this challenge!
See you in class,
Mrs. CM
